CMA partners with IHA to support efforts to improve dating data quality

November 18, 2022

The Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA) launched the Encounter Data Resource Center to help medical practices, community health centers, and other stakeholders improve the quality of encounter data. The California Medical Association (CMA) Physician Services Organization (PSO) is proud to partner with the IHA on a number of these dating data resources.

Visit the hub to download the following:

  • Printable fact sheets for onboard medical personnel on the value of encounter data and how it relates to roles across the practice
  • A quick reference guide outlining available dating data submission resources, requirements, and contacts for major Medi-Cal health plans
  • An introductory presentation to help staff members understand encounter data as a whole

More resources, including a template that medical practices can use to document important encounter data policies and procedures, are coming soon!
